Settings

Click on "Settings" in the lower left corner to access the settings page. Settings have three levels of scope:

  • User: Applies to the currently logged-in account
  • Workspace: Applies to the current workspace
  • Local: Applies to the current device

This allows you to customize settings for different workspaces and devices. Lower-level settings overrides upper-level settings.

Directory Configuration

The settings page mostly contains global preference settings, while other functional settings, like default models/assistants and prompt messages, are scoped at the directory level. These settings are not on the settings page, but rather in the Directory Configuration.

In the right sidebar, right-click a directory and click "Properties" to access the configuration page for that directory.

Configurations here apply to the directory and all of its subdirectories; configurations in the outer directory will be overwritten by inner directories. If you want to modify workspace-wide configurations, simply edit the configurations of the workspace root directory.

Directory configuration allows you to apply different settings to different directories. For example, you create two folders for chats on different subjects/tasks; you can set different default assistants and default models for these two folders.
