Shortcuts
By default, the left sidebar displays the "Shortcuts" directory, and items like "chat Chats", "search Search", and "article Pages" are the default created shortcuts. Like everything else in the workspace, these shortcuts can be created, moved, renamed, deleted, or reordered with prioritizing as needed very freely.
Creating Shortcuts
If the existing shortcuts don't meet your needs, you can create new ones.
For example, we often need to create new chats, but the default action of the "chat Chat" shortcut is to open the previously opened chat. If you want a shortcut to directly create a new chat, you can create a new shortcut for this:
- Click on the "add New Shortcut" button in the top right corner of the shortcut list.
- Enter the various properties for the shortcut:
- Name: Any name will do, like "New Chat"
- Type: We need a create chat shortcut, so select "Chat"
- Directory: In which directory should the chat be created? For example, you can select the "Chat" folder.
- Action: Choose "Create New Item"
- Click "Create"
The newly created shortcut will now appear below. We can do more modifications by right-clicking the shortcut, such as changing the icon, or adjusting sorting priorities in Properties, etc.
